Early in my career, I noticed something: beautiful design without sound business strategy wastes money. That realization changed everything. As a graphic designer, I saw clients request websites thinking design alone would solve their problems. It wouldn't. A website can only amplify a good business plan—it can't fix a bad one.
That question—"What business outcome does this need to achieve?"—led me to pursue my Business (eBusiness) degree and then continue my education in Marketing while continuing design work. I learned that effective solutions require optimizing across three dimensions: user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
My eBusiness degree taught me systems architecture. My MBA taught me strategic thinking.
My education shapes how I approach design today: as product strategy, not interface decoration. Starting by understanding system architecture and data relationships. Grounding decisions in customer expectations and business outcomes.
